At Cogito Books…. you will find a wide range of fiction, from the classic to the newly published. There is an extensive range of children's books, including a special section for those young people too old for Enid Blyton but too young for seriously "adult" literature. A small number of carefully selected foreign language books are also available, along with a range of "blank" greetings cards, audio books and book tokens.

Book Ordering: Any book in print may be ordered from Cogito, at the counter, by telephone or by e-mail. The majority of orders arrive within 2-3 days. 

CDs: A wide range of Classical CDs are also available and can be ordered from EMI,Naxos, Hyperion, Helios, Black Box, BIS, Alia, Vox and many others.

Alan, Julia and their staff are always there to help you find - or choose - a book.   They are happy to deliver books by hand to people in Hexham who find it difficult to visit the shop.

Reading Clubs: Do you belong to a reading club? We offer 15% discount on virtually any novel your group choose. You order for all; we provide and hold the books for collection.
